The paper industry uses it in large quantities for the production of newsprint, packaging paper and tissue paper. Collecting waste paper and disposing of it correctly is therefore a real contribution to environmental protection!
Please note
Provide garbage cans the evening before
The Emsland district waste management company (AWB) asks all citizens to place their waste garbage cans at the roadside in a clearly visible position on the evening before the collection date.
Collection begins in the early hours of the morning – as early as 5:00 am. To ensure that your garbage can is emptied, it is essential that it is provided in good time. This is especially true if you have a public holiday on a Saturday, as the tours often start earlier than usual.
Please place the garbage cans next to each other in pairs to make it easier for the waste disposal vehicles. Only garbage cans that are placed correctly and on time can be emptied reliably.
You decide how to dispose of the waste paper you collect: The waste management company will provide you with a paper container free of charge on request. As usual, you can also take your waste paper to one of the 50 recycling centers in the district.
