Landscape clean-up campaigns

You can register conveniently online. You must specify WHO, WHEN and WHERE is collecting. And WHEN, WHERE and by WHOM the waste is to be delivered. Deliveries can be made by private car or by a collection company commissioned by you or by your municipality’s building yard.

To make collection easier, the waste management company provides the collection groups with bin bags free of charge, which can be collected in advance from the landfill site. The required number of bags and the collection date will be requested when registering.

Please note that the deliverers at the Flechum central landfill are obliged to transfer the waste into the containers provided there. Simple tipping is only possible at the Dörpen, Wesuwe and Venneberg central landfill sites. In addition, car tires, silage films and waste containing hazardous substances must be kept separate when delivered.

Waste containing hazardous substances up to a total quantity of 20 kilograms or 20 liters is accepted during a landscape clean-up campaign.

Larger quantities of hazardous waste should be taken to the hazardous waste interim storage facility on the site of the Haren Wesuwe central landfill. Hazardous waste can be handed in here free of charge as part of a landscape clean-up campaign.
