On 08.12.2025, the Emsland district council adopted the 4th amendment to the statutes on waste management in the district of Emsland (waste management statutes) for 2026 as well as the adjustment of waste disposal fees for the calculation period 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2027 and the 15th amendment to the statutes on the collection of fees for waste disposal in the district of Emsland.
The resolutions come into force on 01.01.2026 – after publication in the official gazette of the district of Emsland. You will receive further information here after publication.

The introduction of organic waste garbage cans with biofilter lids (as a possible alternative) was also decided.
